Gluten and dairy free, Sweet As popcorn was born out of Bill's garage in the small, close-knit community of Raglan. Originating from such humble beginnings, values of closeness, kindness, fun, love & positivity are what our people and products are made of and made from.

A delicious, healthy snack alternative for children and adults. Established in Raglan, 2008 though now being produced locally in Hamilton, New Zealand, Sweet As Popcorn aims to bring our incredible followers and product lovers nothing but the BEST! To do this, Sweet As Popcorn places a strong emphasis on exceptional quality and aims to ensure the company’s values and humble heritage behind the brand is extended to our popcorn supporters.

Purchased today, Butterscotch, best before 08/06/23, 3251 22:40 from Countdown, Hastings. Thanks folks, after cyclone Gabrielle this soggy, nasty taste bag of Butterscothch popcorn did not raise our spirits. Hope your living the life there. Won't purchase again...ever. 0 star if I could.
Smashed my entire tooth to pieces , I know there’s a warning on the bag due to it being hand made - but if there are rock hard pieces of sugar inside amongst the popcorn should it be on the shelf ? I have a dental appointment tomorrow cringing about how much that will cost , and hurt . Love the taste of this popcorn but will not be buying again to dangerous.
I have just eaten a small packet of your sweet As Popcorn. Your pop corn is the nicest I have I have ever eaten. Well done for all your research for making such a nice pop corn. I see I can buy it in Countdown thanks for that E Barker Lower Hutt
I tried the caramel, very burnt, tasted bad due to it over roasted and the texture not good as there were 3/4 of the bag filled with broken small pieces of the popcorn. I rang them 3 days ago and left a voice message...no reply, sent an email.. no reply. Actually complimented them on the popcorn that I did manage to eat which were like the illustration on the packet as they were very nice but clearly there is a problem with there caramel product production by reading customer reviews and their non reply to a customer who has taken their time to contact them. Not very helpful. My email had some humor with it, positive praise and constructive criticism. I don't think it's good business to ignore a customer which I feel they have.
Hi Guys - I think your popcorn is great - I wanted to rate you at 5 stars because I think that a 1 star rating isn't fair. I have to say that there are multiple places that are consistently sold out. That might be the reason the guy in Hamilton couldn't find it. I live in Auckland and we have been to 7 supermarkets that are on the list of selling it but we can't find any due to being sold out. I will have to place and order online it seems.
Use to love this popcorn but the last 2 bags have tasted of burnt carmel an has put me off. Half the popcorn not have any flavour on it either. Thinking of throwing away the other 5 bags I have. Very disappointed
I probably eat two or three bags of popcorn a year I brought a bag of sweet and salty last Sunday now six days later saterday I'm half way through bag number five what have you done to me....... kia ora it's november now two months since I put up the review above well here i am again just regretting i didn't buy two bags of sweet and salty it's too late now and 25 kms to town
We love the sweet and salty and decided to try the caramel. So disappointed. The caramel tasted burnt and not distributed through the popcorn evenly. Just tasted totally yuk.
So LOVE the Sweet n Salty - but all of a sudden all our stores in Whangarei have stopped stocking it - Not Happy as we can't find it any where in Whangarei "Help"
We usually love the Caramel Popcorn however the last bag brought at the Kapiti Caltex tasted burnt
