Named after the latin genus classification for the bumblebee, Bombus Bakes strives to embody everything awesome about the furry wee insects we couldn't live without. Each cake is individually made to order, with all decorative elements made from scratch also. We choose to use 100%
organic, free range eggs, Lewis Rd Cremery organic milk, NZ butter, and Whittakers fair trade chocolate in our baking - as happy ingredients make the best cakes.
We steer clear of any artificial colourings and flavourings. Instead, we like to experiment with natural, seasonal flavourings and decorations, opting for dehydrated and freeze-dried fruit, nuts, herbs, and edible flowers grown in the garden. Here at Bombus, we think that these elements
look, taste and smell much better than anything made out of fondant.
