The true essence of of an Indian restaurant. The food was authentic Indian stuff. The staffs were friendly but professional. However, the prices are on the higher side of affordable, which seems ideal fit for quantity and quality of food. But but but, if I am paying for food priced on the higher end I expect to be served with proper cutlery and not probably not paper plates and wooden cutlery which I reckon is definitely great for takeaways Vegetarian options: Great Vege options available, cooked fresh. Parking: I don't think they have a separate carpark, so you can park anywhere in the CBD
One of the best South Indian food I had in NZ. Did enjoyed other dishes as well brilliantly done.Very humble and friendly staff. You guys are doing a great job. Will recommend all my friends to visit this place.
during an overnight stop in Taupo, we've decided to get Indian food delivery to the motel for dinner. and two thumbs up to this restaurant meals arrived in perfect temperature, generous portion, delicious taste, spices were well-balanced & reasonable price. a mood-booster after a long-haul drive well done & will surely order again.
Came in a group of four adults and three children and everyone found something they really liked. Mainly a takeaway that has some seats, the quality of the food overcame any quibbles with the paper plates and bamboo cutlery. Great vegetarian options, fantastic samosas, everything seemed freshly cooked and distinctively flavoured. Breads are great as well. Very generous portions. Would definitely come back. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options, standard range of dishes found in most Indian restaurants.
We love the delivery option, the food is always hot and fresh, friendly delivery staff, and always a personalized thank you on the bag. I think it's the best Indian in Taupo.. ohh and you must get a tub of ice cream and the chocolate Naan for pudding!!! yum!!
Definitely recommend, was on the expensive side compared to most Indian but worth it. Perfect Chicken Balti, Butter Chicken & naan. They did charge us for delivery though their menu stated free delivery on orders over $30.Food: 5/5
Butter chicken was delicious - honestly best I’ve ever had but I live in the US so take that for what it’s worth. Super friendly staff! Would definitely come back! MUST stop in this place if you are passing through Taupō!
This is hands down the best Indian Restaurant in Taupō!! The staff are amazing and give the best friendly service. The food is outstanding, authentic and delicious. No need to look anywhere else if you want great Indian food!
Wow! This is a really nice casual diner. They have a few options which you won't find at most Indian restaurants. We ended up buying a few different chat items and they were all very tasty. I will definitely visit again for the pani puri alone.
Always fabulous service and you definitely get what you are paying for, the food is delicious and the staff are great. The food always comes out hot and in decent time. Never any complaints, love it!Food: 5/5
