Literally amazing. My boyfriend and I turned up unannounced at 9pm, they were super friendly and seated us without complaint even though it was late. Service was great, staff friendly and attentive, nothing was too hard. The food was SO good! We had an array of different dishes, and everything was divine. Priced very slightly higher than some other Indian places we have been to, but it is so worth it. We will definitely be back.
Very great service and food. We visited twice specially from Napier to taste their dishes and our trip was worth doing it. The staff was so kind and friendly to us. Both times we got window table which gives stunning look of lake Taupo from it.
They served delicious meal and good services. They served quality Curry dishes in reasonable size. Specious dining areas and tables so good for group of people or large families. Staffs are kind and veiw from the windows are spectacular. It is bit difficult to find a parking place and bit expensive then other Indian restaurants.
Food:4.8/5 We had the butter chicken, Paneer Tikka Masala, Garlic nann and Mango Lassi. All of them tasted so good. If the garlic nann was more chewier and thicker would be perfect which was a bit dry. But all in all the best Indian food that I’ve had recently. Service:5/5 Staff were super friendly and service was really fast.
First time here and gotta say I wish I had tried it sooner! The best butter chicken dish in NZ! The whole experience from the view of the lake to to the amazing service, kid friendly place and then the food! Whoa definitely the best in NZ! I would drive from Wellington to have dinner here! So good!! The chicken was so soft and tasted like perfection and the sauce was mind blowing! You gotta try it! Taste and see for yourself! Thanks again guys!
My husband and I were absolutely blown away by the quality and tastiness of the food here at Indian delights in Taupo. We dined here with our two young ones and they loved it so much too. They were entertained with a simple toy until our food arrived. As wellingtonians who eat butter chicken. Often we are quite the critics haha. But the butter chicken here we believe is the best we've ever tried. My husband im sure you'll remember was raving about how amazing the food was. Big thank you to the waiters you two were absolutely lovely! And another big thank you to the chef! You are boss!!!!!! Our family will surely be back, not even kidding you haha. We had a delicious meal at Indian Delights on the lakefront last night and I would highly recommend this place. The staff were really kind and welcoming. We loved the food, music, ambience and the vibe! This place would be really amazing if it was a sunny day, and I am sure you will enjoy a lovely meal, looking over the lake! We will be coming back!
Tonight was the first time my two young daughter's have eaten Indian food. They really enjoyed the food, music, the restaurant and stunning view and your wonderful service. The food was outstanding, we were all very impressed and hope to be back the next time we're in Taupo! Thank you so much!
I would say this is one of the overrated Indian restaurants in the town. We ordered goat biriyani and chicken fried rice for lunch. The biriyani was very colorful but had no flavours - more importantly there was no goat . Chicken fried rice was okay but it could have been better - only chicken and spring onion in it.
First time here in Taupo and I love the beautiful lakefront view! There are huge variety of food to choose from and the prices are fair. Food tastes great and staffs are accommodating. The premises are amazingly spotless and comfortable. Would love to come again next time!
