Really great dining experience at Malabar, we ordered the set Nepalese for two. Everything was really flavourful and the portion size and spice level was spot on. One of the best Indian meals I've had in NZ. The restaurant was almost full but service was still very good.Food: 5/5
Very nice place to have the dinner. We enjoy the starters dishes as well as main dishes but starters dishes was yummy and main dishes was ok but love it both.Recommended dishesHapuka Fish Tikka, Prawn Starter
A great place for having yummy starters. Friendly staff. Good ambiance as well. For food, we tried fish tikka, chicken momos and chicken soup and was really good. For mains we had Nepalese chicken curry which was average but the rice and laccha paratha was great. In short mouthwatering starters and you’ll keep digging into, hence won’t go mains
I asked some local people where I could go for dinner and they suggested this restaurant. Iam very happy I went there and highly recommend this place. Service is fantastic. The food was incredibly good. I ordered Naan stuffed with sun dried tomatoes, olives and cheese and I’ll definitely be back for that. The vegetarian biryani was very tasty and the portion of food was reasonably large. The place is clean and organised. Prices are fair. It’s definitely worth checking that out.
Nepalise / Indian duck leg was a prefect combination. Kids loved their butter chickens, and mum liked her chaats. Great presentation, service and food. Mango lassi was a hit.
We order takeaway. Food was very tasty and delivery was free. Delivery was a bit slow but understandable as they are busy. Overall very happy.
Some of the best and varied Indian/Nepalese food around. We booked for a large family dinner and weren't disappointed. Sensibly priced, good portion sizes and delicious. Service was a little slow but thats to be expected with the current labour shortages, so you have to cut some slack. Definitely worth a visit!
The best Indian Nepalese fusion. Do try each and every curry beautifully prepared in beautiful presentation and tasty food.
Lovely little place with delicious food and a wide variety of options. If you like steamed dumplings, the momos are a fantastic blend of curry flavor in a dumpling. Both curries we tried were very goodFood: 5/5
