Had possibly the nicest customer experience today, came in right on closing at around 8:45pm and was greeted by Sophie and Dayna.nDespite being so late I was met with enthusiasm and an incredibly friendly demeanour. Currently touring New Zealand all the way from Montreal Canada!nnStopped by at Rolleston Subway, late evening last night. My meatball sub was delicious, and I received exceptional customer service although it seemed like quite a busy night for the ladies.nnI had an amazing experience with one particular girl. Didn't catch her name, but had a nose piercing with blonde hair. She had a very friendly demeanour, and was happy to help with the many questions I had.nnIt was a memorable stop to my trip, and I will definitely be stopping again for another sub on the way back!
The girl that served me tonight, I believe she was new as a co-worker was telling her some of the correct practices. Don't know the girls name but shootout to the new girl she made the best sub my wife and I have ever had and she was super friendly with a genuine smile.
Legendary service from the lady’s on closing shift tonight. They had heaps of orders but still made time to give the best customer service experience. Most scrumptious sub I have ever had, angel the worker went above and beyond to deliver the best sub. Will definitely be coming back.
4th June 2025.nIn Rolleston for a couple of weeks as a work secondment.nThought I'd go to subway for lunch.nIn this day and age where we are paying premium prices for everything, it becomes more of a bitter pull to swallow when you pay more and yet get less.nI ordered the steak melt footlong.nI get a bit antagonistic when you see miserable amounts of filling being put on.nWhen you ask for red onion you generally want more than a couple of slivers and jalapeños- a few more than 3 or 4 bits.nI had to ask for more red onion.nDidn't seem to mind loading on the lettuce though.n2 stars from me. This isn't the only subway being miserly on the fillings - it seems to be a trend and only adds to my reluctance to put my foot in the door of any of their stores.
