Amazing place with amazing people. The staff is super friendly and are always ready to help with good suggestions.nnAnd the looks... oh my goodness! It's so cool! The place has this chilling vibe, with a great selection of songs, plants, the swings in the downstairs seating area, the upstairs area. The outside area is also great if you have your pet and want to spend some time having some ice cream or eating some pastries and bakery goods, which are delicious by the way.nnKids love the place for the little ones with all the colorful drawings of ice cream on the wall. The tops and the space couldn't be more entertaining. We loved it!nnThe ice cream flavors are incredible. So delicious and with a smooth texture. What I really like is that Helado is very inclusive, having dairy free, vegan sorbet and ice creams for all tastes.nnAlso try their brunch menu. You can't go wrong with anything there. The food is delicious
Worth detouring off the main road for!!nn100/10!! Best Gelato I have tasted - I had coconut icecream with caramel nuts & the lemon meringue which was incredible.nnSo good I stopped off on my way back to Christchurch for Passionfruit cheesecake flavour.nnAllnAre natural flavours and made by the owners, who were so friendly and Chilean so I practiced some Spanish and felt so welcome.
Everyone was really lovely, staff were kind and the ice cream is just beautiful my kids got the cheesecake and brownie and kept asking for more! Will definitely be back
Have been to Helado a few times, always super friendly service, and tasty ice creams. They have a separate freezer of dairy free / vegan sorbets and ice creams.nnThe atmosphere is beautiful, with a plant wall in the upstairs seating area, and swings in the downstairs seating area. Feel like could definitely benefit with an additional staff member on during busy times, as the one lady working seemed to be carrying it all!
First time visiting Helado in Rolleston. Venue looks great. We tried their brunch menu. We ordered the Rakaia benny and Rolleston mushroom. The serving is a good size. Food taste is 5/5. I also ordered the iced chocolate with gelato that was amazing in looks and taste. My husband tried the dark chocolate gelato and he loves it… we will surely be back to try other food and drinks in the menu.
