Have eaten here many times but haven't gotten round to writing a review.nWe love coming here as its always busy and there is a nice variety of foods with the menu changing from season to season and all dietary needs covered.nWhether its brunch, coffee or dinner they have you covered!nThe Team are always super helpful, the meals come out in a timely manner and any sized groups can be catered for - its our go to when coming down to see whanau.

Just popped in for a road coffee and muffin. Chose the berry and white chocolate muffin, great choice as the texture was nice and moist, without being too soggy or crumbly, more of a pleasure to bite into, and a taste to go with. Very nice.nnThe coffee was great also.

Fabulous service, amazing staff, so lovely and friendly.. we got to try the new menu.. that had started the day before .. and it was amazing.. thank you

Not familiar with Te Awamutu's hospitality offerings, after one visit here, wouldn't rush back. Positives & negatives. Like nice comfy design seating, unfortunately covered in previous users food. Servers did their basic job, without charm or grace, but working hard as busy. Large servings, tasty enough food, parking right outside. Fries got cold rapidly as served on unwarmed plate, so only got to eat a third of them. Bit meh. Kinda surprised how much the resting 'b' face & unconcealed impatience of server affected our experience. Was there for the food & company I went with. And I don't know what the girl was processing in her own life on that day. I wish owners would appreciate thr staff more & train them for the service industry they are in, or select better suited natures to represent them.

I visited Storyteller for lunch today as part of a large group. I ordered a coffee as soon as I arrived and it took 20 minutes to arrived. One person in the group had preordered 4 platters which came out reasonably quickly. However I am a Celiac and none of the food was safe for me to eat. Therefore I ordered a Storyteller Bene. I waited over an hour and a half but my meal never arrived so others in my party suggested I cancel it which I did.nI left the restaurant with nothing to eat.nI have no gripe with the waiting staff who were very friendly but they were aware that I didn’t get a meal.nNo one apologised to my satisfaction.nI was really disappointed because other friends around me enjoyed their meals.nOther tables all got their food!!nHow can I give your food any recommendation?
