Stopforths Motel

Clean large accommodation and seems recently renovated.nnWe were able to park outside, and you can do laundry by arrangement which was very clean and dry.nnThe bed was comfortable, but like most new Zealand hotels, I found the pillows too soft, I still had a great sleep.nnGood water pressure in the shower, and very hot as well. The accommodation was very quietnnHost was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here and enjoyed the location close to town but quiet and private. Loved the beds and bathroom plus excellent wifi. Easily the best Motel I've stayed in and great value for money in June.nnQuality place to stay in Hokitika I will be back.

Wonderful stay at Stopforths Motel!!! Rooms are relatively modern and clean, well equipped, and spacious enough for our family of 3. Option for connected rooms with our extended family. Service is 5-star. Sonia is amazing, from providing recommendations at check-in and preparing the perfect breakfast. Really appreciate the staff for working hard over the holiday season. We considered booking a seemingly older accommodation that’s nearer to town/beach but so glad we stayed with Stopforths instead.

I'll give a 6 out of 5 for our stay here. Sonja went above and beyond to accommodate us when we were totally let down by another provider.nThe rooms were more than what we were hoping for, Sonja and the cleaning staff were obviously happy to make our stay memorable.

This motel is one of the best we've stayed in. Very clean with plenty of room. The large beds were very comfortable. Welcoming friendly hosts. Would highly recommend.
