The King sized bed was divine!nSo comfortable. But there were only two thin blankets. The staff woman was very shocked to hear that I wasn't a fan of the heat pump being on whilst I slept. Yes there are lots of us out there who just want a duvet and maybe just a normal heater that's not blowing on your nose and is noisy. It gives me sinus issues 24/7.nThe bathroom floor was freezing. And the floor mats were tiny. Apart from that it was cute and very nicely designed. A very short walk to beach. The poles made it nice. Lovely units. The kitchen had everything you need.
We stayed here for 1 night in the powered campsite. The kitchen was well stocked, although it felt slightly dirty and it was quite dark. There is also no oven. The toilets were good, although it was very cold in the block, with 1 shower that was very powerful although it made the entire room wet and damp. The hairdryer also does not work. Lovely to be by the beach, and also be able to see the glow worms opposite the campsite.
Great bed, awesome hot showers. Cabins are cute log cabins, i booked one of the smaller rooms. Great nights sleep awesome location adjacent to the beach for a stroll and stunning sunset.
Looking for beachside accommodation in Hokitika?? Look no further than this place. With lovely staff, great and spacious rooms combined with a great location created a lovely experience for us. The entire experience from start to finish was amazing including the off season upgrade to a better cabin.nnFurthermore the location next to the beach and glowworm dell makes for a perfect evening on our road trip.
Such a great place. We stayed in a beachfront cabin with ensuit bathroom and a spa. The view onto the ocean was great and the room very clean and spacious.nThe kitchen inside the room includes a microwave, two hot plates, a kettle, coffee plunger, pots and pans. Go wild with cooking!nAlso, you can walk to the Glow Worm Dell within 2 minutes from the place.
