This was our first stop after leaving Christchurch and turned out to be a very pleasant stay. The manager was friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and well maintained.nnThe bathtub–shower combination felt a bit unusual at first, but worked surprisingly well. We even bathed our baby there, which was a nice bonus. The only downside were the sofa chairs, which look quite worn and could use replacing.nnThe location is quiet and convenient, not right in the center but still within walking distance or a short drive. Also worth mentioning: there’s a cute cat around, which adds a nice, homey touch.nnOverall, a clean, comfortable, and easygoing place. Nothing fancy, but everything you need for a relaxed stop on the West Coast.
Arrived here late at night after camping plans got cancelled due to bad weather. Absolutely lovely welcoming staff, clean warm room and dog friendly! Highly recommend! Thanks so much

Great stay, spacious rooms. Washing machine and dryers are $2 coin operated laundry detergent $1
Really good experience here! Rooms were so so clean and felt very sanitary. Got some fresh free milk from reception at check in. Really comfy bed and we had the room with spa bath and even heated blankets. Would stay again! Also very cute cat that gets around the hotel.
