We had a great stay at 252 Beachside. The room was clean and comfortable. We liked the short 10-15 minute walk into town. All the guests were quiet and respectful. The children loved the swimming pool and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
For the price it was a nice dry sleep but the room has a musky smell and the showers needed a good clean + doors! I felt unsafe with just the shower curtains to seperate me from the rest of the bathroom. Doors didn't shut properly in the bedroom, the bed was horrible! We even tried the other double bed in the room and felt the springs through the thin mattress, equally as bad. Also the doona cover had a cigaret burn in it. Not a good look.
This was one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. The place was absolutely filthy. The sheets were clearly unclean, the showers were disgusting and obviously not cleaned, and the overall hygiene standards were appalling.nThe carpet didn’t even fit the floor properly, which just added to how run-down and neglected the entire property felt. The whole place is a dive and should not be operating as accommodation.nI would strongly advise anyone who has already booked to leave immediately, find accommodation elsewhere, and take the matter to the Disputes Tribunal. This property is completely unacceptable and not fit for guests.nAvoid at all costs.
Very nice place near to market and beach just walking distance. Pool is good to have fun with family and friends.nStaff is very good lady at the front reception is very helpful and always with a smile on her face .nWe stayed here for one night in room 208/209 .nA budget friendly motel.
Everything felt gross, would not recommend. The owners definitely just want to take your money and not do any basic maintenance or cleaning. Our cabin leaked in the rain
