Food was yum with a few good options too choose from, pool tables + juke box for some good entertainment. Will be back again
We had a lovely meal. I had the Seafood Chowder. It was delicious. My partner had the pork belly which he said was nice. The vegetables were ok but he still enjoyed it. We love stopping at the sterling. And the team there are friendly. We enjoyed a couple of drinks too.
Good hearty meals at a decent price. Nice local pub with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend coming here and will be back when in town again.
The Sterling is a good place to go to! The food is like a bit more fancy pub food, it was still AMAZING! I got the “Sterling Chicken Burger” it came with some tasty thick fries and the burger was delectable! With its creamy sauce melting in your mouth! The Chicken and salad were okay, the chicken is cooked not fried in case you’re wondering the staff were lovely and it is a great place to go for dinner!
Really nice food at this pub, well worth a lunch stop after a walk around the open mine.
