What a surprisingly great find tucked away in the eastern end of Waihi. A really comfortable and lovely place that serves amazing meals. We had excellent service and were even paid a visit at our table by the chef/owner checking on how everything was. We can't say enough wonderful things about the food and experience.
Came across this restaurant by accident when travelling NZ and was so impressed. The service was so friendly and the food amazing. We had the risottos, one prawn & shrimp and one vegetarian, and we both loved them. Excellent
Delicious food, comfort our souls and stomachs after a long detour from road blockage due to road closure in current raining weather. Hosts are a pair of lovely couples who had a nice chat with us. Do drop by, highly recommended for the food and hospitality.
I had one of the specials of the day Thai fish cakes and salad.. The flavours were beautiful the service was with a smile and then some more. I eat out a lot and the place is immaculate and food is great and its in a peaceful setting. I so want to return to try some more dishes. Sadly I am from Auckland.. Even got some home made salad dressing that's so yummy you can buy here.. Thanks for sharing a little bit of your kind hearts with us.. Its hard to find these days. 5 stars to the chef and his wife
Very friendly owners and the food taste really good. The salad was fresh and tasty. The beef cheeks tasted really tender and soft. The potatoes with garlic butter was really delicious. The music was of a good volume too and good selection. Even the scenery during my meal was great you can see below. I'll look forward to coming back one of these days for sure.
