Great location with the beach across the road. Restaurant was modern, clean and busy with people. Generous with the bacon as it was ordered as a side. The brunch meals came out very quickly. The eggs tasted great. My burger came out late and the others had finished eating which I didn’t like… BUT I can forgive this as it was worth the wait, fresh and tasted great. Patty was thick and chips crunchy.

Great friendly café right next to the airport by the sea. Perfect location to watch the coming and going of aircraft and ferries crossing the Strait. Limited menu but that means everything is cooked to perfection. Good selection of drinks, wonderful spot. It's one of our favourite places.Food: 4/5

This is a busy cafe, great location near to the airport to get a bite to eat before travelling. Great service and coffee and the various selection of food we all tried was delicious. Great for plane spotting and watching take offs over the harbour. Beach across the road.

I was there on a Sunday before Xmas. It was fullas expected and told to wait. After 10 mins we had our table. I have posted photos of the updated menu. We had mince on toast and egg benedict and a caramel slice. They were yum! This is cafe that in a unique area , you can view a beach, cook straight, and Wellington airport. Recommend this cafe if you are in the areas.

A must visit for everyone who comes to Wellington!! Lovely views and great atmosphere inside. Service was quick and friendly and the food was perfect. All the portions were super generous eg: the avo toast probably had a whole avocado on it.Recommended dishes

Lively cafe with a view today of a horde of surfers in thick wetsuits tackling 2-3 m waves. Great meals and coffee, with large portions.

Located with the beach right across the road this establishment offers all day brekkie and has seating indoors and outdoors. Brekkie was what I was after on this first visit but not the last. My meal was good and I will try to pop in again when I'm in windy Welly in October. I'm looking forward to trying other things on their menu so watch this space.

Super disappointed with my visit today. The service was really poor and there were heaps of staff, so can’t really blame covid. I ordered the Avocado on toast for $20, and was served a soggy piece of bread with two slices of tomato and a bit of avocado on top. The menu said it came with duqqa and “crumbled feta”. The amount of feta I received was no more than half a tea spoon, with the total amount shown on my fork in the photo. I told the waiter that I was a little disappointed as this was $20 and probably cost them less than 5 to make. He just rolled his eyes at me and walked away. Really sad about this visit as I used to think the Spruce Goose was pretty good! If I could leave a zero star review, I would.

Nice views, thin toast. Really great view of Lyall looking towards red rocks glass needs cleaning though and views of planes is fun to watch! Food and service was Ok! Bit disappointed with small, thin toast that came with meal. Not worth the $$. I would come here again, and just order coffee. I hope that the owner gives the staff a Living Wage.
