Spotlight is a treasure trove of interesting household items. I love the fabric and pattern section, especially when the patterns were all half price last week. Staff were very helpful.
Hi, I just wanted to share a bad experience I had this evening in the curtain section. I asked a staff member for help, but all she kept saying was “I don’t know” or “we don’t have that.” When I told her she wasn’t being very helpful, she replied in a grumpy voice, “Then go and ask somebody else.”nnI think it’s important for staff to still be polite, even if they don’t know the answer. It’s okay not to know, but the way she spoke came across as rude and unhelpful. If someone isn’t happy with their job, maybe they shouldn’t be dealing with customers.nnJust wanted to let the management know. Thanks.
I have never in my life had such bad treatment as i did this afternoon. The lady behind the counter was the most sourest person ever. Couldn’t smile, look at me or even greeted me. After taking my money she left me standing and didn’t even give me my wool, i had walk around another staff member, bend over her and customer to get my wool. Gosh lady just half a grin would be better than nothing. Last time that shop will see me!!!! I truly hope the manager reads this, and sends them on a course in how to treat customers.
