So much fun. Possible to do if you are in a manual wheelchair however you will need to have someone with you that can carry you. The path in and out is quite steep with loose gravel and there are stairs at the end to get down to the swingplatform. The staff were super helpful. It also makes things easier if you are able to lift yourself.
My 19 yr old daughter and I did the Canyon Shotover Swing yesterday and it was truly fantastic! The whole experience from beginning to end was run really professionally with fun, competent guides that made the whole experience truly something we will never forget. We did it as part of the combo package, which meant we did the Shotover JET straight after with the tasting experience at the Brewery. Loved the Shotover Jet too and the brewery is in such a gorgeous spot, where you can have a beer and some flat bed and reflect on the action-packed morning you just had. If I could rate it more than 5 stars I would. Our guide for the day, Georgia was fun, relaxed and very competant - exactly the kind of vibe you need when you're about to hurl yourself off a cliff. Do yourself a favour and make sure you experience this while you are in Queenstown and use these guys they know what they are doing and make it amazing!!
The Shotover canyon swing was amazing! Being a hundred a ten metres high with a 60 metre drop next to a cliff face is scary as hell but once you're out there and you swing over the shotover river and take in the landscape around you whilst you're suspended and flying-theres no better feeling! The staff at the canyon swing are awesome people too and its okay to be afraid but you've got to push through the fear and take that leap

The most epic experience, terrifying, but epic. We did the tandem swing to start, and then had the opportunity to add on solo swings as well! Loved the banter from the crew, really adds to the experience. And the scenary, wow! There's so many different styles of jumps to try. Highly recommend adding the photo/vid option, so worth it, you will absolutly want to watch this back!

The whole experience was amazing!! The convenience of the shuttle to get you on site was great! The staff were very friendly and clearly experienced, which immediately puts you at ease. The experience was so fun!! Staff were super friendly, straight forward, funny, and everything was well planned and executed. We felt very safe in their hands, had a blast, and the pictures and videos were edited on-site and ready emailed and ready to watch and airdrop as soon as we finished. What an operation! No wonder these guys have won numerous awards. Highly recommended. Don’t forget to enjoy the view when your down there!!
Had the most incredible time here today with my Dad : Staff were supportive but also hilarious and made it such a great experience. Falling was truely terrifying but the swing after was epic and such a beautiful view. We tried the Lucky Dip fall and it was amazing. Photos and video was so fast to receive and definitely worth the cost. Will remember forever. Big props to Kayla for making this a great time. She was wonderful :
