Scrunchy Millers - Real Fruit Ice Cream & Gelato

A place that serves real strawberry soft-serve ice cream that feels even more authentic than what you’d find at a strawberry farm. There were many other fruit options, but I chose my all-time favourite—strawberry. It was absolutely delicious, and I was genuinely impressed by how kind and friendly the young lady serving customers was. They also offer gelato, which wasn’t overly sweet or heavy—just perfectly refreshing.

I came to Scrunch Millers Ice Cream in Milford after seeing all the positive reviews. I ordered a strawberry and raspberry real fruit ice cream, and it was absolutely delicious. The ratio was perfect, the fruit tasted fresh, and it wasn’t too sweet. After ordering, I was also given samples of the Biscoff and Cookies & Cream flavours, which were both amazing. It really shows that the owner cares about his customers and takes pride in what he makes. Honestly, one of the best ice cream spots on the Shore, if not all of Auckland. This is a local business well worth supporting.

Went in with 4 others yesterday afternoon. Place was busy and I normally consider this a good sign. Customer service was good, nice and friendly. 3 of our group got Gelato and they were happy. My wife and I ordered real fruit ice cream, this took nearly 20 minutes. However, that’s not my main issue. They use Fruzio frozen fruit in their ice cream - yes, the cheap stuff from Pak n Save and not even from a local fruit supply. Secondly, they grab the frozen fruit out of the freezer with their bare hands - no gloves, no tongs, nothing. The girl who made the ice cream after ours wiped her forehead, then immediately grabbed mor fruit with her dirty bare hand - disgusting! Will definitely not be back and you guys need hygiene training.

Great ice cream shop with a wide variety of flavours to choose from. The staff are friendly and patient, which makes the experience even better. The ice cream is delicious and creamy, and it’s our go-to stop whenever we head to the beach or go for a walk.

Grade A thought I took a photonn10 out of 10. Nice to know there’s a real fruit ice cream available out North Shore after hours.nnOrdered Banana split for my son and I $13.50 see photosnand a kiddies single scoop ice cream with sprinkles for my 5 yr old $3 daughter demolished most of it before I remembered to get a photo Cost us $17.50.nnIt was a long line out the door onto the foot path but their service is super quick.nnDO NOT PARK IN THE PARKING LOT or you will get a $65 parking ticket.nnThere is about 6 parking spots around the corner that belongs to Scrunchy millers or you can just find else where and walk.
