Scrunchy Millers - Real Fruit Ice Cream & Gelato

A place that serves real strawberry soft-serve ice cream that feels even more authentic than what you’d find at a strawberry farm. There were many other fruit options, but I chose my all-time favourite—strawberry. It was absolutely delicious, and I was genuinely impressed by how kind and friendly the young lady serving customers was. They also offer gelato, which wasn’t overly sweet or heavy—just perfectly refreshing.

I wish we lived a few thousand miles closer. Sadly visiting from California so this will just have to be a sweet memory of our time in Auckland.nnStopped here the other night after dinner and I noticed the feijoa flavor! I was so excited as a childhood memory was 50 years ago scooping that fruit from my mom’s trees inear San Francisco.nnI got a taste and then stupidly ordered a scoop of the after dinner mint flavor. Don’t get me wrong, it was excellent but now I have regrets that I only tasted the feijoa and didn’t get a full serving. The mix of tropical flavors and the cream were just spectacular.nnWe kind of ended up in Auckland due to a flight cancellation. But now I want to come back and have a full serving of that delicious ice cream!!

Great value in a real fruit icecream. Lovely flavour choice too. Mango was great but think I’ll go for my favourite banana next time. Yes, there will definitely be a ‘next time’.

I came to Scrunch Millers Ice Cream in Milford after seeing all the positive reviews. I ordered a strawberry and raspberry real fruit ice cream, and it was absolutely delicious. The ratio was perfect, the fruit tasted fresh, and it wasn’t too sweet. After ordering, I was also given samples of the Biscoff and Cookies & Cream flavours, which were both amazing. It really shows that the owner cares about his customers and takes pride in what he makes. Honestly, one of the best ice cream spots on the Shore, if not all of Auckland. This is a local business well worth supporting.
