Duck Island Ice Cream is always a spot I genuinely look forward to visiting. They consistently deliver on creativity, with unique flavour combinations that somehow still feel familiar and comforting. This visit was no exception. I tried the apple pie, pistachio, and caramel, and all three absolutely hit the spot. The apple pie was warm and nostalgic in flavour, the pistachio tasted rich and authentic, and the caramel was smooth and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet.nnWhat really sets Duck Island apart is the quality—you can tell real care goes into how each flavour is made. Nothing tastes artificial or rushed. The gelato is creamy, well-textured, and full of depth, making it hard to choose just one scoop.nnService was fast and friendly, even with a steady flow of customers, which made the experience even better. It’s the kind of place that never disappoints and always leaves you wanting to come back to try something new. If you’re after ice cream that’s a little different but consistently excellent, Duck Island is always a winning choice.

Plenty of flavours to choose from and the ice cream was absolutely delicious. We visited on a Wednesday evening and there was still a queue outside, which says a lot! A busy and popular placenDefinitely worth the wait.

Great ice cream - premium in quality and taste. But the staff when I visited 24 April 2026 around 1.30pm seemed a little hurried which made the ordering experience rushed this is at a time when we were the only customers at the shop. He also appeared to be frustrated when asked for a sample of a flavour. We would go back for the ice cream, a friendlier and more patient approach from the staff would make the experience even better.
