Great experience at Ruby's!nnI really love this place. The staff are super enthusiastic and welcoming, which makes you feel great right away.nThe space is spacious and very clean. If you like strong coffee, this is the spot. The food is also delicious with lots of options and looks beautiful on the plate.nHighly recommend stopping by if you are in Porirua. Definitely worth a visit!

Lovely welcome . Nice ,clean and tidy. Then the food. Cabinet looked great but we ordered pancakes. They were very light and fluffy but unfortunately we couldn't eat them all. Nicely presented and the chef wasn't bad either. Will go back.
An amazing tasty lunch today at Ruby’s. I noticed it seemed like the whole place had improved . . . new outside tables, it felt clean, and the menu had changed. Then I was told it was fairly new ownership which made perfect sense. We sat outside on a beautiful Welly sunny day under an umbrella with my well behaved little dog. The lovely lady that has just moved down from Auckland was so helpful and friendly. She brought a bowl of water out for my dog straight away. Highly recommend, a happy experience with well priced super tasty food . . . you really can’t ask for much more than this
Lunchtime visit on Mother's Day. First choice of salmon hash wasn't available so I settled for the Thai beef salad which was completely lacking in Thai flavours. Unfortunately the beef wasn't medium rare as stated on the menu. It was VERY well-done, not a trace of rare at all, dry and cheery. And there were no mung bean sprouts either. Just a below average beef salad. Disappointed.nnMum had the prawn and avocado salad and she enjoyed every bite. Happy mum, happy Mother's Day.
