An amazing tasty lunch today at Ruby’s. I noticed it seemed like the whole place had improved . . . new outside tables, it felt clean, and the menu had changed. Then I was told it was fairly new ownership which made perfect sense. We sat outside on a beautiful Welly sunny day under an umbrella with my well behaved little dog. The lovely lady that has just moved down from Auckland was so helpful and friendly. She brought a bowl of water out for my dog straight away. Highly recommend, a happy experience with well priced super tasty food . . . you really can’t ask for much more than this

This has become one of our favourite locals. The food is amazing - so delicious and beautifully presented. Vast range of options on the menu and in the cabinet. The staff are so lovely, warm and friendly, and the background music is awesome, tops off the vibe nicely. Plenty of seating options inside and out, located in the cutest little courtyard. Always love it there!

Updating my previous reviews. NEW, NEW, NEW...new owners, new furniture and new menu. We had frequented Ruby's less and less due to the general atmosphere, drop in service, and unclean tables and chairs etc. The new owner's have really revamped the Cafe and it is sparkling. All the surfaces were clean, new furniture including the courtyard. The new menu is great and has some fabulous new additions, plus some of Ruby's old classics. Staff were efficient and food presentation was great. Portion sizes on the Vegetarian and Big Brekkie were very generous and filling! All four of us that dined there were happy with our meals. Great coffees and a lovely vibe. So happy that our local cafe is now fabulous again!
