Good coffee, nice brunch menu. The fries were very good. The staff were very helpful. Couldn't give it 5 stars as one of my eggs was slightly underdone. Runny yolk great, but not runny white.
One of my favorite places!nBagels here are very tasty, crunchy and fresh. I also love shakshouka and smoothies!
They make their own sesame buns and bagels for their burgers and bagel meals. Their beef burger is easily the best in the region I’ve sampled many . Had the avocado feta bagel yesterday and it was excellent also. The service is excellent as well, fast and friendly. I come here regularly and everything we’ve tried has been great.
Enjoyed their burger on the lunch menu and I've since tried more of their cabinet food cookie, apple pie, almond croissant, coffee cheesecake. Perhaps it's just my personal preference but I found the coffee cheesecake a tad underpowered - texture was perfect though. The apple crumble lacked a punch too, perhaps lacking on sugar / lemon juice / cinnamon and the cookie had a great texture but again lacked a punch in the sweetness department. The almond croissant was definitely overcooked and was tough to cut with a knife... but tasted nice 3.5/5. Overall the burger was 4.5/5 will definitely buy again and the cabinet food is around 3 - 3.5/5. If you don't like sweet stuff or strong coffee or soft golden croissant then you'd probably enjoy the cabinet choices more than myself! Bumped overall to 4/5 as we desperately need more places like this in Whitby, otherwise it's dominoes pizza or new world for brunch....eek
Highly recommend the chicken and mushroom pies, the rolls, and the bagels. The bread is baked in-house so all the cabinet items that use bread are really good. The big breakfast and BLT are also excellent. Great food but the coffee is inconsistent depending on who's the barista.
