New Zealand's ONLY NATIVE FOREST ZIPLINE CANOPY TOUR - opened August 2012.

Embark on a magical journey, only 15 minutes from Rotorua, through untouched native New Zealand forest from an unexplored perspective.

On a 3 hour guided eco-tour, experience 1.2 kilometres of forest suspended up to 22 metres high amongst ancient trees.

Mix thrill and wonder through an incredible network of trails, tree platforms, ziplines and swing bridges.

Products

Rotorua Canopy Tours offers an all round eco-adventure, swinging through the native tree Canopy in Rotorua New Zealand.
Allow 3 hours for the tour in which you will flying fox through the trees, experience native wildlife, and be educated on the challenges facing native New Zealand species.

Very safe and competent guides. We had a really good time with Sam and Henry who kept us moving and laughing the whole time. Of course it’s fun to do the bridges and the zip lines, but it’s even better that the name of their game is conservation and they took the time to educate us on local species of flora and fauna and answer our questions we had as we went along the tour. Highly recommend coming and taking the time to see the canopies of New Zealand and learn more about the nature.
My partner shouted me the ultimate canopy experience and for sure it was ultimate we spent 3.5hours in a virgin forest only 20 minutes from our home. We got educated, we faced fears, we had epic yarns and above all had an incredible experience. We had Mitch and Reuben who were empathetic, wicked lads. Whenever I was nervous both guys were there to comfort and encourage. So thankful for this experience will be back again! Highly reccomend
What an amazing experience. If you like going on ziplines while seeing the forest, definitely book one of the tours here. We did the ultimate tour and we had an awesome time, definitely one that we will remember for a long time. Both our guides were super friendly and outgoing, while being very knowledgeable and caring of those of us who were a bit more nervous. Having great staff guide you through this fantastic course made all the difference. Highly recommended.
Amazing your zip lines were above and beyond as were the guides - Harry and George. They made the whole experience a treat their comradeship and humour added so much to your trip! Really fun!! The company does an amazing job both with the ZipLine and conservation. The guides are a great time and super helpful, the company has a bunch of extras coats, gloves and a carrier for your phone. Sam and Julian our guides were so professional, but super fun. I had a blast. They push you to do the extras, but reassure you that you are safe. The jungle is gorgeous!
Nina and Scott took me on the original tour and it was a once and life time experience! I had huge nerves at the start of the tour but they coached me through it and by the end I was feeling super confident. Their vast knowledge really added another layer to the tour, it was both an exhilarating and knowledgeable experience. What topped it off was their humour and engagement with us, it created a personal experience I’ll never forget
Such a great afternoon! The scenery was amazing, the zipline experience was thrilling, and the conservation story was truly inspiring. A special shout out to our guides, Alex, Nelson and Vincent who were informative, ensured we felt very safe, and made the whole experience so much fun. My family and I had an absolute blast and we would recommend the experience to anyone!
We took the extreme canopy tour and absolutely loved it! As older travelers 68, we were a bit worried about keeping up with the younger tour members, but Nina and Mitch were fantastic. They were patient and helped us get down the steps for the zip line and cheered us on! The tour is highly recommended and so is this tour company. The attention to safety and service was seen at every point of the tour, as well as the commitment to the environment. Well done Nina and Mitch!!!!
A super experience in the beauty of nature. Fran and Ange were our guides who very energetic and engaged with the group continually from first meeting and until the end. Excellent safety brief and reaffirmation to ensure everyone understood. Great safety throughout. Personally for me over the adrenalin of zipping through the trees was the information regarding the conservation and information regarding the nature inhabiting the forest. Learnt some great new facts. Very enjoyable experience and thank you to the team.
