Absolutely amazing experience. Tom was a fabulous guide and really ensured had a great time while also being super informative about the glow worms and local area. Was the highlight of our trip, kayaking on the lake in the dark was a surreal experience and the caves were like entering another world. I would recommend this experience to anyone young or old as a must do when in Rotorua.

My first time seeing glow worms, an experience I won't forget! Shuttle pick up and drop off was amazing for a traveler without a car. We kayaked at a leisurely pace, easy for beginners. Would recommend this tour to anyone in the area.

I must say felt a bit expensive while booking but it's worth it especially for first time kayakers like me. Our guide Tom was fabulous. The experience, of heading into caves and sitting beneath so many glow worms, is something I'll cherish. Been to other similar experiences but one cannot get any closer to these astonishing creatures.

The evening kayak tour was an amazing experience! We really enjoyed the quiet and peaceful lake at night despite getting rained on. We got to see lots of stars later at night, and kayaking under such a bright moonlight was really cool. There were so many glow worms in the caves and that was something out of this world. We'd like to thank Tom and Amy- both of them were super friendly and nice. Tom told us all about glow worms in such a nice and entertaining way and I really enjoyed learning about them. As there were only two teams inc. us, we got a lot if attention and help throughout the tour it was my second time kayaking so needed some help from the hosts and my kayak partner. Thanks so much!

This was probably the most incredible tour I've ever been on! Definitely worth it, at a great price. We saw so many glowwworms up close as well as an incredible view of the night sky! Would recommend

Unbelievable experience! Highly recommend. Tom and Amy were fantastic guides. We saw a ton of glow worms up close and personal. We also saw a beautiful sky of stars shooting stars, the Milky Way, constellations, satellites. 10/10!! You dont want to miss this experience. But dress warm.. its really cold on the water! They gave us some nice wet suits but you will still need some layers

Jamie was an excellent guide and the tour was nice and laid back. Very friendly staff and accommodating. They provided life vest, wetsuits, booties, and head lamps for the trip so nothing was needed except a camera. Would recommend some sort of dry bag or flotation device for your phone in the event you fall in or drop the phone. The sites were amazing and well worth the trip.

This trip was wonderful! It was a nice, calm paddle on a beautiful lake and we got to see several caves with magical glowing worms and their webs! Our guide Jess was incredible! She taught us about the native pings trees and the differences in them and their health benefits. So if you are into learning about native bush plants, Jess is the guide you want! I can’t thank them enough for the experience and seeing this magical little creatures!
