We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Regatta Bar And Eatery Takapuna today. Our party of two were well taken care of by Bella! She ensured we were looked after, rescuing us from the cold outside, and allowing us to be seated early. The food was delicious. Thank you so much to her and the team. We will definitely be returning again someday soon. Ngā mihi nui.

We attended a private function here. It is a lovely beachside setting with a variety of indoor and outdoor seating options. The atmosphere is airy, with a nautical themed decor. The reason I would come back is for the food. I had chicken with creme brulee for dessert, and my husband had the steak followed by a cheese plate. I rarely order chichen out but was tempted by the description and not disappointed it was tender, and the flavour was incredible. I would return based on this dish alone. Service was great, efficient and friendly but not intrusive.

Had a fantastic Mother’s Day lunch experience, with a nice sea view and a pleasant ambiance complemented by good background music that doesn't overpower conversation. The food was decidedly tasty, but a bit pricey for what it is.nOverall, Regatta is a good choice if you're looking for a spot with a great view and a pleasant vibe for lunch, and are prepared for a slightly higher price point.

We had the best seat in the house! Beautiful views of Takapuna beach and Rangitoto. Great attentive service and the food was delicious. Steak and frites for me plus pan fried snapper with crispy skin for my love! Wonderful desserts, must have a great chef. Great wine list too. Highly recommended!

Restaurant has a nice setting with a great view of the ocean, restaurant music wasn’t too loud either. The servers were very prompt and professional although the menus were a bit old and tatty. Restaurant was clean and had a nice indoor outdoor flow, we sat on the threshold on a Tuesday night and it wasn’t too busy, there were a few groups dining.nnOur starters were fantastic, the lemon pepper squid was perfectly seasoned and everything came with plenty of sauce. The broccoli was good.nnThe wagyu burger patty was a bit dry, but good balance of ingredients in there. I found the fish a little tasteless, but the chips and salad were nice for both.nnAlso got a mango colada mocktail which was very good.
