Tokki

One of my favs on the Shore. Great food with Korean origins. Nice selection of Japanese whiskeys, sake and cocktails. The service matches the excellent flavours of the dishes. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.

What an amazing find! Original and creative food with such balanced and beautiful flavours. We had the tasting menu which delivered an impressive variety of dishes with a Korean influence but unlike anything we have tried before. Did I mention the outstanding service? This is a fine dining experience in an unlikely location, but you will kick yourself if you don't try Tokki. Thank you Jason and your team for such a great evening.

Service was great ! To be honest I haven't had this much good service in Korean restaurant in auckland.nnHowever. Food wasn't that impressive. It was okay. Crispy egg plant was good but not sure if it's Korean style... also flat noodle. Not sure about it.nnAnd maybe try not to over use soy sauce for dishes. Some dishes taste pretty similar...nAnd portion sizes.. would be better if it's little bigger. Also I think just two individual piece of bites will be better for customers then one cut in half or quarter..nnBy the way I can give 10 stars for melona s more it was real good !!

If there’s something special you want to celebrate or feel like a dining experience worth paying for - book a table at Tokki! Truly, this place is the most amazing fine dining spot in NZ. We usually need to go to a drive thru if we’ve bothered to go to a fancy restaurant …but Tokki delivers on taste, generous portions and the loveliest service! Tokki deserves all the Michelin stars for all the things they do and serve. We love it!

We’ve been here numerous times but today it was different. It was supposed to be an ‘unknown’ day, and it was different to their everyday menu. Personally, I think today’s course deserves easy Michelin stars. It’s been a while and my first time in NZ that I had to think about the intention of the chef why he designed this course like this. It’s not only delicious but also amazing how we can explore how deep this depth of taste can travel. I just admire Jason’s unbeatable talent. His everyday menu is great but I would like to recommend not to lose these chances whenever these ‘unknown’ opportunity comes up.
