Reality Bites

Ordered a long black and a big breakfast. The coffee was pretty good. The big breakfast was average. The tomato poached eggs were good enough, but everything else could've done with being cooked a bit longer. Even the toast, which a more accurate description would be warmed bread.

The staff were very attentive but unfortunately the coffee wasn’t great in taste or presentation & the poor cafe is in need of a refresh. One of the chair coverings is ripped and the cabinet was out of order? Wouldn’t rush back in a hurry. Parking is also an issue around here.

Great coffee, my husband thought his Big Breakfast was good 7/10. But Waffles with bacon and fried banana was very disappointing. Can only guess Banana had been frozen, and there was too much. It looked like a pile of slimy slugs, and with an odd taste 4/10. Server was also not wearing mask correctly at counter. Think I'll stick to coffee and a muffin in future.

Came in for a few coffees rainging from Iced mocah, flat white, mocah, and kids hot chocolates. The hot chocolate was flat out Luke warm, not even warm enough for the kids also super bland more like room temp milk. Flat white was meant to be extra hot but was only just hot, also burnt and not great tasting. The iced moach was nice. Service was good friendly staff. Cabinet food was empty but pies were filled up looked hot warm and fresh. Overall I found my experience extremely average and I would not recommend.

Had a lovely time at this wonderful little cafe! Couldn't stop for long but the staff were very friendly, the coffee was good check out the neat latte art! and the scone was also excellent. The space is not huge but it's not really going to be a problem if you come with a friend or small group. Would highly recommend coming here if you are in the area!

Dirty, table we sat at was sticky, the porta filter for the coffee was filthy. Coffee was ok could’ve been a bit hotter. Had a pie that was average, pastry tasted like cardboard

A gem of a cafe ! I had an amazing breakfast ,the “big breakfast” and indeed it was big but also very tasty. The cafe has an amazing Vibe with great art on the walls and a Hidden Garden tucked out the back to chill in.I will definitely revisit if I'm ever in Christchurch again. thanks.

I had a fantastic scrambled eggs with bacon and mushrooms at Reality Bites. The place is easy to get to situated on a main road with adequate parking on the main street on either side of the road. Service was quick and friendly and most importantly the meal was very nice with friendly staff

We came here yesterday morning and had lovely service!! We ordered off the menu and all the food was great! we will definitely be back soon :

We have been to multiple cafes and this one by far has the friendliest service, our breakfasts were packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. Thanks Reality we will be back.
