Realfresh Seafood Northcote

Two girls give me too less for seafood basket. I kept coming to this place for over 7 years. During this 7 years, this place has changed owner a few times yet kept same high level quality of food all the time till today. For 7 years, only ordered same dish and received exactly what I expected, the owners know me, staffs know me. I know seafood basket more than some of their staffs. The moment I received less food or lowed quality, I would know. Over 7 years, this is first time. I hope this place will restore its quality. If next time, the food is still not like what I know, I will never go.

This place has deteriorated a lot on the fish and chip business. They charge full price for a less than half size potato fritter and they can't even be bothered working the hours they say they will! Will be traveling further for better in the future and would advise others to do the same.

I went here months ago to buy a fish basket and I ended up at home with only fish and chips when I opened the brown paper. The white guy worked here that day I remembered was the one who did my order and he was like playing up with people's food and i saw his face with that don't care giggling. The selection on the menu should Contains 2 Crumbed Prawn Cutlets, 2 Crumbed Squid Rings, 2 Seafood Bites and and a vege roll were all missing. So disgusting and I wasted my money hope he's not working here anymore.

I like this place. know this fish&chips for nearly 10 years. During this period, the owner may have changed several times, but the quality remain. This place has top fish&chips I know. I told many people, they don't believe me till they come to visit. I remember once, during a public holiday, I was checking their schedule outside, an old gentleman said to me "they closed, I am waiting for it too." I am glad through many years, maybe many ownership changed many times, it is as good as the first time. Wanted to give you 4 or 4.5 for you not open on public holiday, but no. Really not easy for a small business to survive this long. All the best.

Excellent value- fish beautifully cooked with thin crispy batter & not too oily, We hardly ever have takeaway but we’re still thinking about this meal. Really yummy!

Always excellent & friendly, fast & efficient service Customer service & food. I emphasise on *Customer* as this seems to be a fading art!! Been coming here for a few years nw. Hard to find a good value for money Fish n Chips. I always enjoy the food here, not too salty, nt oily/greasy hate it like that just right and oh and always so piping hot!! I can't comment on much else as I dnt really order anything else. I highly recommend this place even just to try once. Hard working staff here‼

Excellent! Totally awesome service - incredibly fresh fish & GREAT fish & chips! I’d argue the BEST in Auckland! Would recommend for both their takeaways & fresh fish! Highly recommend!

Yuk. Very pricey , not top quality snapper and horrible oily soggy batter. For this price you expect more. Kumara chips also not the best. Would not come back. There are many other places do better

Over charged and given the wrong combo... called to see if I could get a credit for next time & the lady that answered didn't understand english. If your gonna take my money at least provide the correct food for which I have paid for or at least tell me you have adjusted my order. Upgrade your customer service!

The food was terrible, both cardboard trays were saturated with oil it was disgusting to look at. We didn't end up eating it,, waste of $42.90
