Super friendly staff. Great for a small bite and coffee. If you have a sweet tooth, should try out their small dessert platter along with a drink. The lemon meringue and hazelnut toffee tarts were good. Parking: Limited parking on side street or at their customer parking lot.
Had a custard fruit pastry, an almond croissant and some other savoury pastry with feta on top. Really enjoyed the pastry, and I like that the sweet items weren't excessively sweet. It was a much needed treat on a rainy work day. Parking: Tucked behind the shop is a carpark that appears to be shared by multiple businesses - I had assumed it wasn't just Fresh Collectives carpark.
Best croissants ever! I was really appreciative that the staff are so understanding and provide an outdoor booth for those of us who are a bit too nervous to venture indoors at the moment. So happy to see them expand to Mt Albert as the Point Chevalier location was always a must-go for me!
From interior design perspective, use the natural timber making hanging shelves and the bench deco, it creates the naturally comfortable atmosphere. The Selections of the posters, reflect the culture of this Cafe” little French”. Nice place for catching up, and taste the French style here.
Tried Le Benedicte and eggs on croissant for brunch. The food is tasty reminding my friends of their recent trip to France. The staff are very friendly. Also tried the vegetable baguette sandwich as takeaway which was delicious and flavourful.
We ordered big breakfast and egg on croissant and they were amazing. We liked that the siroin was included in big breakkie instead of sausages. The croissant was really good too. We also tried macarons and they just melted in our mouth, so good!!
I'm quite curious. Do you buy your croissant from the Fresh Collective next door? My ham and cheese croissant tasted just like the ones I make at home with the products I buy from the supermarket next door to your café, I think it cost around $10 so it was disappointing.
It was unfortunate to see the cafe closed after the flooding, but they've got the pop up store in the back carpark! Looking forward to the cafe opening again so we can sit and enjoy the delicious pastries!Food: 5/5
Choice of counter and menu options was excellent. Settled on a baguette which was delicious. Enjoyed the coffee too. Quick service, well priced, pleasant staff. It was busy and had a nice atmosphere. Will go againFood: 5/5
Nice little French cafe, food is very delicious, benne with classic tasty hollandaise sauce and home cured salmon. Deserts are next level too.
