Simply put - WOW! Phillip & Jacqui have clearly put their heart & soul into creating such a fantastic place. Welcomed on arrival, the ground floor has a large space to relax & unwind, to enjoy a beverage after a day of travel. This, & every guest room has a theme, uniquely filled with artifacts. But it's the thought taken with quality products in the bathrooms, tea & coffee, supplied breakfast & fresh cut flowers in your room. All staff are welcoming, happy to have a chat, & share great recommendations for the area. We loved our stay at Poshtel!
Great location although there is no private parking. Pleasant and comfortable rooms although breakfast is more a New Zealand 'continental' than anything you would find at a boutique hotel in Europe. However Tees St cafe is only a short walk away.
Lovely hotel in Oamaru. Beautifully curated rooms set the right tone for the town that has the Steampunk HQ and a vibrant Victorian quarter. Excellent continental breakfast.
This is a very beautiful, comfortable, and interesting hotel in the lovely town of Oamaru. Fascinating and quirky decorations, large and comfortable bed, and very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is excellent too. Close to restaurants and Steampunk HQ. Highly recommended!
This is an incredible hotel. Completely unique in every way. Stayed here for a night but could have stayed much longer.nnOne of the best beds ever. The room was beautifully designed. Breakfast is a continental buffet, but includes bagels, avocado, fresh pesto amongst lots of other delights.nnThe shared living areas are fascinating, you won’t want to leave. All the staff were extremely helpful and deserve a 5review.
