One of , if not the Best Fish n Chip Shop in Taranaki. Solid sized Cheese or Egg burger comes loaded with a Homemade Beef Pattie or the Fish Burger has generous sized piece of fresh fish... My son is allergic to Mayo and it was no problem asking for a custom order. Heaps of other other delicious options such as whitebait sandwiches. Friendly owners. Clean premises. Yum food
As out of towners we did a little bit of research as to which fish and chip shop we would try. Our order consisted of wedges , chips and fish and we were not disappointed either with portion size and taste. The chips we golden yellow and crispy as was the fish batter and the wedges nice and crispy too. They were also accommodating in supplying sour cream and chilli sauce. We were not disappointed.
Absolutely my favorite place in the city! The food is fresh, light, and never greasy. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming — I come here every week!
HI NOT SURE HOW TO REPLY TO YOUR COMMENT BELLOW SO HAVE EDITED THIS: I’m not sure what refund you are talking about because we never received a refund from you? Also apologies for assuming the two young adults were teenagers. I have been back 1 time since last weekend and the food was good. The fish was nothing like the fish received the first time I went which was actually un edible and it was fast this time. I appreciate your response but don’t appreciate you saying you gave us a refund when we in fact never heard back from you u til now.nnLast night we tried this place for the first time. We ordered 2 snapper fillets, 3 fish , a hotdog and a scoop of chips. The food took a long time even though they didnt seem busy at all. They seemed to have 2 teenagers running it on their own. I overheard them saying don’t worry just cook it longer and “I just want to see if this works” so obviously they knew something wasn’t right. We received our food and the batter was extremely doughy and not right at all. The regular fish was un eatable dry and horrible. Luckily the flesh of the fillet Was good but we won’t be coming back here again. For almost $50 I feel like we were ripped off.
Best fish n chip shop around.nBurgers are amazing and great valued.nNever had a better fish Burger than this.nVery friendly service always
