Poppies Kindergarten

We’ve had a wonderful experience at Poppies. From the owner to every teacher, everyone is kind, caring and truly dedicated to the children. The centre is always clean, welcoming and well organised, and we’ve always felt our daughter was in safe and loving hands.nnWe’re so grateful for everything the team has done for our family. We highly recommend Poppies, and it will always be our first recommendation to friends looking for a kindergarten.

We feel very lucky that our son joined Poppies at the age of 3. The warm, safe environment and caring teachers helped him settle in quickly and grow with confidence.nnThe learning activities are fun and engaging, and we can see how much he has learned and developed during his time there. My son Gary has had a truly wonderful three weeks of learning and growing with you.nnYour warmth, kindness, and the joyful energy of the children made us feel so welcome and touched as a family. Gary has been incredibly happy here — he told us that kindergarten in New Zealand is much more relaxed than in China, and that it’s just “play, play, play” every day. Through this short but meaningful exchange experience, he has been exposed to different races and cultures, which has been such valuable exposure for his development.nnWe truly hope to have the opportunity to bring Gary back to Auckland for another exchange next year, and maybe by then he’ll be speaking beautiful English!nnFinally, we wish Poppies Kindergarten all the best. As a mum with both my girls at Poppies, I honestly can’t recommend it enough — it’s by far the best daycare we’ve come across locally. What sets it apart is how much the team genuinely cares, not just about the kids but about our whole family. My eldest has since graduated and my youngest is still there, and the love and attention has been consistent throughout. The girls have thrived, and the regular excursions keep things exciting and real for them. We’ve also found an amazing sense of community — friendships that have grown for both the girls and us as parents. Their transition to school programme was brilliant for our eldest — it gave her real confidence and made starting school feel exciting rather than daunting. A huge shoutout to Rhiannon, the owner, who is incredibly hands-on and the amazing dedicated team of educators at Poppies

Today is the last day of my Natalia at Poppies and we would surely miss the entire team of teachers Arezoo, Tiffany, Tania, Michelle and the hands-on owner Rhiannon. Im amazed that parents of other kids have known Natalia bcoz of her cheerfulness and the sense of community that Poppies upholds. Poppies is the place where you have the peace of mind that your child will be looked after. We love the details of capturing the magic moments of our child’s development and learning.
