We had a fantastic experience at Polynesian Spa and would absolutely recommend it to families visiting Rotorua.nnWe took our 10 month old with us and spent most of our time in the 36°C and 38°C pools, which were perfect for him. The 40°C and 41°C pools were a bit too hot for the little one, but they were incredible for the adults. The acidic pool in particular was amazing, and after about an hour and a half soaking, my arthritic knees felt the best they have in a long time.nnThe whole place was relaxing, clean, and well set up. Just make sure you drink plenty of water while you’re there, and note that they don’t allow floaties for infants or young children in the pools.nnA really enjoyable experience for the whole family.
Nice spa but the weirdest layout.nThe more expensive Deluxe side none of the pools are deep, there are no life guards, but they allow kids and there were multiple families that came through. You don't want to pay a premium to relax at the spa and then have extra noise from kids in the pools with you.nnThe cheaper side has deeper pools and lifeguards everywhere, but no kids allowed.nnEnjoyed the heated loungers as a break from the water. Enjoyed sandwiches and smoothies from the Cafe.
Had some well needed R&R in the private lake view pools. Would highly recommend the private pools. Friendly and helpful staff, plus free ice cream or juice with some of the packages.
This venue was on our doorstep so couldn't resist. In at 9am and was so quiet. Very relaxing and chilled as you would expect. Nice views over lake. Everywhere clean and friendly staff. Would definitely use this a lot of I lived here. Talked to some locals who have a reasonable monthly membership.
I found this spa to be an incredible retreat, perfect for unwinding and shedding stress. The pavilion option is a definite must for adult groups, offering a fantastic experience. There are numerous hot pools, each providing a wonderful opportunity to relax. ‍ bliss! ‍ Would absolutely recommend for a soothing escape.
