Paul M Taekwon-Do Papakura is affiliated to International Taekwon-Do (NZ) and ITF (Worldwide). The school provides classes for all ages: pre-schoolers (TKD Kubz), kids (Mini-Kids, and adults.
The Papakura branch of International Taekwon-Do was formed in 1988. We train at the Papakura Normal School Hall and the Takanini Public Hall.
The Instructor is Master Paul McPhail, 8th dan and Technical Advisor for International Taekwon-Do, with over 38 years experience.
The Papakura branch has a current membership of over 100 people divided into 8 different classes. We specialise in Kids classes catering from age 3 years old. Our adults classes cater for family groups with members of all ages.
We are active and supportive of all ITKD events such as tournaments and seminars. We have won many awards such as Club of the Year and Instructor of the Year in 2010. The club has produced over 80 black belts with many going on to represent New Zealand at World Champs level.
