Our room for 2 adults is clean and tidy. Since our room is close to the road, vehicle noise is noticeable but would be isolated after the door is closed. Night time is still quiet enough to sleep. The room decoration is pretty new. The kitchen is reasonably equipped. The bathroom/washroom is spacious with heater which is good for winter shower. It has a shower and a jacuzzis which is a surprise. However, the shower hot water is not hot enough and the water pressure of the shower is a bit weak. Suggest the motel manager to pay attention to the shower head, it might be needed to clean the clog. In addition, the WiFi signal and speed is disappointed and really need to be improved. If you are a youtube heavy viewer like me or need to play mobile phone game, then don't have a high hope on the WiFi services.
DONT RECOMMEND:nWe were in room 1 right on the road.nThe noise was terrible , felt like traffic was coming through the room. We had no sleep, bed in lounge you could feel the springs through the mattress Room smelt of curry and all our clothes smelt after 2 days. Bathroom & kitchen all very old and tired. Car parks were so tight with dangerous ledges right as you got out. We were at an event and cost of room was double what it is normally as Timaru was booked out.
We slept very well - beds were comfortable and room was very quiet, we couldn't hear any traffic noise. Great shower too! The 4 bed family room we were in would benefit from a bigger pot, oven dish and more utensils in the kitchen and also a couple more place mats and coat hangers there were 2 of each, but overall we really enjoyed our stay and would return.
We stayed here for the night with our softball team and it was fantastic!nThe rooms were great - lots of room, super clean, and everything that we needed.nThe owners are awesome - really friendly and helpful and super accommodatingnWe will definitely be back!nThanks again
Stayed for one night on the way to our destination. Wow! The unit was amazing! Clean! Warm! Comfy! And really good value for money. We only seen the host once as it was late when we arrived and we left early in the morning but just the brief time we spoke with him he was very polite and well spoken. A real pleasure. Thank you.
