Blue Dolphin Motel

Good location close to town/the bay. Found the room tired, a little musty smelling and dated aside from new carpet but clean. Check in was very easy but the lady could've been alot friendlier and welcoming. The gentleman and I had a lovely chat the next morning as we were leaving which was very nice. We probably wouldn't choose to stay again but was a cheap option for somewhere to sleep, maybe not the nicest option if you want somewhere to hang out.

Comfortable room with good cooking facilities; reasonably priced. We expected some traffic noise which we soon got used to. However we were in unit 11 & the noise from the plumbing in the next door unit every time the occupiers used the toilet & washed their hands, was very irritating. Mentioned it to management who said there was nothing they could do about it. Happy to stay again but not in unit 11!!! Over all 3 out of 5

What a great place to stay not far from anywhere in Timaru we had a great unit with cooking facilities beds were so comfortable nice clean facilities and the host's made you very welcome the children and I absolutely enjoyed and loved staying here To the host's at blue dolphin thank you so much for a wonderful week stay

Wonderful new carpet in our rooms, great beds very comfortable old style shower with great pressure, close to town

Very clean ,tidy and central. Bit noisy but you can't be in town and expect no noise.
