The place and room was very clean and well presented as was the outside of the motel. Handy location and didn't have issues with road noise.nnThe TV didn't work well, very delayed with changing channels and it was lagging. But given we didn't spend much time in the room it wasn't a big deal.nnThere was a very unpleasant smell in the reception area however which wasn't the beat first impression.nnHowever, pleasant staff.nnThank you
Great suites motel in a convenient location. Room was large and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and great shower with toiletries provided. Guest laundry a bonus, 10 dollars for wash and dry.
While the staff were very friendly, the view was awful. It is advertised as a harbour view. This consists of a view of the dunes and the container wharf. There was only the tinest speck of water visible. Certainly not what I would call a harbour view. I think this is definitely a case of false advertising. The room was dark and had an unusual smell. We had booked in for two nights, but left after one. As State Highway 1 was directly below our room, it was very noisy and the main trunk line was next to the road. Very disappointed.
We were very pleased with our stay here. The studio we had was great. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed, even though it is right on state highway 1 we didn't hear any traffic because of the double glassing. All the shops and restaurants were close and the beach is a short walk away. Next time I go south I will definitely be booking here again.
The rooms were modern and clean and the location was good - walkable into the town centre and Caroline Bay. The person in the office was rude to our group on a number of occassions, and made a few of us feel very uncomfortable. Laundry was expensive.
