Palms Motel Nelson

Well functioning A/C! Washer Dryer,! Pool! Spacious rms w kitchenettes! Good/fast hot water and pressure. Light filled rooms if you don't mind having drapes open to the parking lot.nAll in all, a good value.

Great location, great price, just really good. Although in some ways the rooms were a bit concerning a crusty toilet seat from god knows what happened there, only reason why not 5, it's pretty nice. Comfortable beds, TV with Sky, really comfortable leather chair, great blinds/curtains.nnMoreover, the lovely receptionist made us feel welcome very quickly and mentioned that the place is just across the road from the Supermarket. Has a pool with a few floating things for children, and they pretty much got everything just right with the kitchen. Quiet ceiling fans too.nnI usually feel homesick in these kinds of areas, but this motel made me feel at home very quickly. :

Pretty nice motel, with kitchenette. Close to InterCity bus stop. Grocery store across the street.nWe had a fastest check in and even “won” the price- small bottle of milk:nYou can walk for just 5-10 minutes to many different restaurants. Or, can order to your door.nAnd pretty quiet area. Only an issue that we have was a WiFi- stream was almost impossible but we survived for 2 nights.

This is a motel. We rated it two stars because it is listed on here as a 4-star hotel. We would rate it 3 stars if the expectation was for a 3-star property. There’s nothing wrong with it. It’s just a motel.
