Kings Gate Motel

We book two rooms for my family one bedroom apartment and two bedroom this included the breakfast but unfortunately there's wasn't any which disappointing my family was expecting it to be serving before we head home today, we only stayed for one night, the room itself was okay but definitely needed to be more upgraded, looks a bit dated, needs progress for cleaning, the water slow and the shower take longer to get hot water our rooms was cold had to turn on the air con make it warmer for my kid's other than that okay. Not so much for my first experience with my husband and kid's. Not much greetings from the owners when we left

Nice little hotel, in our 2 bedroom single beds were way too soft for comfortable sleep but double bed was OK. Not too far from the city, just a nice kiwi motel

Our room was disappointing. We booked and paid for four people, but the room was only equiped to host 3 as no linen was provided for the couch bed. Luckily we had a sleeping bag on hand. Also only three sets of teas / hot chocolate and mugs. Some basic things missing too, like towels and milk, and wifi didn’t work.nnTowels and milk were supplied the morning we asked, but would’ve been nice to have have on hand when we checked in late that night for a shower and cuppa.nnWe had to check in late due to our travel plans, and so didn’t have the opportunity to notify staff at that time

We paid $530 for 2 nights stay $255 a night. We paid for 4 adults and the room we received only accomadated 3 adults 1 double bed 1 single bed and a couch that was harder then a stretcher. Our room had the bare minimum towels,body wash,soap,shampoo, hot chocolate,coffee,tea,milk enough for 2-3people we booked for 4. The next day Our room was not restocked fresh towels, hot drink condiments,milk ,nfresh rubbish bin. We had to go ask for towels and hot choc,coffee and milk.the wifi was crap as the public one was down and we had to use the staff but it didn't work on two mobiles in our room I then accidentally left my favourite duvet at the hotel and when we I collected the manager claimed she cleaned it had more stains and fur all over it. We will not be back.

Room was quite poorly cleaned, Went to hop in to bed and found hair all through the sheets it honestly looked like they weren't changed, there was three of us and we all ended up having to sleep in the lounge on a pull out sofa bed. Parking at the property isn't great it's basically first in first served and if you miss out it leaves a busy road to park on. I let reception know and there was no was no offer to compensate our sleepless cold Night, the cleaners were blamed.
