PNCET is an independent body established in 1991 by the city council to enhance the natural and physical environment of Palmerston North. PNCET is run by a Trust Board with diverse backgrounds and a unifying interest in environmental sustainability .
PNCET aims to contribute to Palmerston North becoming a more environmentally sustainable and vibrant city. PNCET supports and stimulates activities that are focused around the Palmerston North community becoming more sustainable.
We aim to generate awareness about the need for sustainability, deliver principled and effective advocacy for the environment, and provide funding for local environmentally-focused projects.
