Story

Welcome to the second East Otago Field Days on the Wednesday 18th of October and Thursday 19th October. After all of the excitement of the memorable mud at the first show - we have moved this one a few kilometres down the road to the Palmerston Saleyards. Still very central South, North and West - but less likely to mud. Siet plan is currently underway. Expressions of Interest to Maria Barta at [email protected] .

This event offers an intimate personalised atmosphere where visitors to the field days can meet exhibitors face to face.

Our Field Days has the great advantage of being an inexpensive and intimate occasion.

We are ideally positioned for small to medium-sized businesses that might find a big Field Days event too expensive but also have space for larger businesses wishing to exhibit farm machinery or needing a large site to showcase their product range.

The East Otago town of Palmerston is situated midway between Canterbury, Southland and Central Otago. Our attractive, sheltered showground venue is highly accessible to a substantial number of farming and rural industries.

Proceeds from the field days will be returned to the community and help the society redevelop its yards
