On a powered site in our caravan while needing to get a few things done in Auckland. Rebecca, is an absolute Legend with her kindness, efficiency and professionalism in helping us with all manner of odd requests from us during our stay and has gone above and beyond to help us achieve our goals while here. Thank you Rebecca!nnThe campground is lovely, sites fairly spacious with a 1 minute walk to Orewa beach, and a five to 10 minute walk to the main shops. There are excellent cycle/walk paths between the campground and Reserve and around the estuary. The campground has a playground, all the usual amenities and outdoor bbq areas.nnWe have enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future.
We stayed one night in our campervan. We just used the shared toilets and showers, which were great, no complaints. The view is amazing.
Had to bring our caravan from Kerikeri to get solar panel fitted. We asked about a cabin for the 2 nights the workmen had the van, and were given a fully self contained one, Who Knew !!nDidn't have to bring anything from home !!!nSeparate bedroom big comfy bed Lovely clean sheets and towels even a TV. Very impressive and much cheaper than a Motel. Then booked a campsite for the caravan as late pick up. Great beachside site and easy in and out as we are new to this.nAwesome staff, helpful and cheerful.nWe will be back.
We just spent an enjoyable first night in our new caravan at Orewa Holiday Park - check in staff were awesome, giving us a great site to make it easier to back in. Very friendly - and we found the facilities to be very clean and tidy. Thanks to Rebecca and her team for making our stay very enjoyable- we will definitely stop again next time we come this way.
Great little campsite on the edge of the domain. Good showers and kitchen with plenty of tables and chairs nearby. Near a busy road but hardly any road noise. The beach is a stones throw away. Site for 2 adults €50. May have got 4 stars if a lower price. Stayed on a Tasman Holiday site in Rotorua with its superb hot pools for only $39 per night. Now that's what I call good value
