Vey good quality of food with reasonable price! Currently they are doing take aways only but it is still worth to visit. Their main menu is a soup but I like Bibimbap the most. Yum! Parking: There are many parking spaces right in front of the restaurant.
Fav plc for lamb soup and bibimbap. Friendly staff and delicious food. Kkakdugi is yummy too! It is a must to visit every week!
The dolsot bibimbap was enjoyed by the kids. Sullong tang was good. The Ukeoji Haejangguk was nice and spicy. Kal guk su was enjoyed by my 9 year old. He said he would have liked a few more shrimp. The kim chi is very good here.
Good tradition Korean food, beautiful lamb hot pots or beef sheen at reasonable prices. Very tasty and decent serving. Limited paring in front but plenty on the main road. Expect to wait for a table during peak hours. Service is average but owner operator and you can tell the crew are hard working as it opens 7 days and 11am to 11pm...cant beat that. The Boss man can be grumpy sometimes. Possibily the best Lamb dish/set in town at $16. Taste even better during Cold winter weather. They also sell traditional Korean Soju. Highly recommended.
Big quantities of foods. Worth the price. I recommend the lamb soup. Cabbage Kimchi is especially spicy here and it is quite addictive. Love this restaurant especially during winter season.
This is by far one of the best Auckland restaurants I've been to in my life. Ive been to hundreds of places to eat in this city and it's hard to come close to this experience - it is euphoric and so damn tasty. I actually get shivers of joy just thinking of their food. I can't believe how cheap their meals are$16~ especially considering not only the high quality, but the amount you get too. You will never leave hungry from any of their soups unless you are an Ironman or in Gokus leagueseriously. Some reviews here saying the food is bland are making a big mistake - theykitchen/chefs do not really add any salt to the meals, they provide salt at each table - if you do not add any then your meal will not come to life. Be sparing on adding the plate of hot sauce to your soup although my spice tolerance is only medium and I like to add it all. The salt is essential though, aprox half a teaspoon for starting although I add about 1 whole teaspoonit is fluffy Korean salt, you aren't actually getting as much as it looks like. Ask for empty rice bowl so you can separate some soup into it and cool it down faster, as waiting for your soup to cool down before you can devour it is the only downside to this absolute AWESOME restaurant. Please franchise it so I can eat this delicious soup 7 days a week! If you are looking for a place to get a great, tasty, healthy meal at a low price, with fast service5-8min for a soup then look no further. If you live close, I am very jealous.
So.. i paid $22 for a veg soup but called "lamp soup”?
Delicious yangyangtang, lamb soup is the must try m, also their kimchi and radish pickles all very yummy. They serve wholegrain/ Blackrice instead of plain rice. Serve food fast, and friendly service.
Food is okay, obviously seems popular despite lack of parking and limited menu. If you love chilli, they do use a lot of it.
Came here again and again, especially in winter, best Korean lamb soup in AKL and fresh spicy kimchi.
