Loved this place. The food was BIG and delicious. Prices are actually pretty decent, we ordered loads of food and it was about £30 a head. The service was great, super friendly and fast. The seating is good. Everything is clean and tidy. Very unassuming place but can't recommend it highly enough.Food: 5/5
Food was excellent and did not take very long, service was good, and the restaurant itself was nice and cozy. The honey mustard fried chicken and the fried udon were 10/10. Keep in mind the portions were relatively big - I was very full by the end of the meal. Would love to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend this little gem!
I’m really surprised by all the five star reviews. I came here having high hopes, but…food just wasn’t good enough. To give you an idea - it was the first time I experienced that food was brought to our table within 2 min of making order. Can you do wings that quick? No. So what’s the trick? It’s all precooked. Our wings were so hard inside, underneath the crisp, that I couldn’t believe it was served like that. It was easily from day before. Noodles were ok although beef probably not seasoned. Stuffy inside the restaurants they could use ventilation. Overall quite a letdown. Prices were reasonable though.
Very similar to the atmosphere of any other street restaurant in Korea. the taste is almost Korean. Not a great place with a fancy interior or decoration, still a great place to visit an extremely ordinary but special Korean restaurant even in downtown London! RATINGS Food : 5/5 Service. : 4/5 Value : 4/5 Atmosphere : 2/5
This is easy to review and recommend, while food might be slightly higher in price it's delicious!!! And with several different types of signature Fried Chicken flavours, you'll feel pretty overwhelmed where to start. If happy to share with a friend, you can get 16 pieces in a 50/50 selection that way you can get experiment with the different tastes. Just go!
Accommodating for walk-ins and friendly staff. Korean Fried Chicken was good - recommend the Yang Nyeum flavour. One thing to note is that rice is not included with some dishes Vs other restaurants. If you’re in town and fancy Korean this will fill a gap!
First time here, very good fried chicken and nice vibe. Maybe the katsu chicken curry could be slightly hotter but It was good. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely come back again
We came here after craving some Korean food. Living locally Daebak is located right next to Vauxhall and is about 5 minutes walk from the underground entrance. We arrived around 7pm on a Monday evening and the restaurant was almost full we were lucky enough to get a table between us. The servers were both polite but also very informative about the menu and took our drinks orders promptly. The food came out really quickly and we ended up with a table full of mainly Korean fried chicken. The food tasted amazing with complex flavors which i would have not put together! The only dish we didnt really like was the spicy chicken Bimimbap which was lacking both spice and overall flavour. To top it all off was very reasonably priced. All in all would recommend going and i will return when craving KFC!
The best korean fried chicken I've ever had. Amazing food at a very reasonable price. Staff were lovely - Will be going back again!
Stopped here for an impromptu meal with some friends over the bank holiday and was blown away by how fantastic this food was! We ordered way too much but everything I tried was delicious - and my friends loved their Korean Fried Chicken too. The udon noodles with veggies, kimchi pancakes, rice, cheesy chips, crispy seaweed and bean sprouts were all superb. Great beers. Friendly and VERY speedy service. Fantastic value for money, good music and a lovely atmosphere. A gem - wouldn’t hesitate to return!
