Obsidian Wines - Waiheke Island

Visited the vineyard in January 2024 and would recommend others to drop by as well. Knowledgeable staff, excellent wines away from the crowds. A walk away from the main road - easily reachable by car as well.

Beautiful environment in between of vineyards, relaxed atmosphere and absolutely great wine. Lovely people, lovely wine tasting experience!

An absolutely amazing experience. Excellent wine, and the Kiwi-Italian wine makers assistant who educated us about the wines on offer made our visit to Obsidian the highlight of our day on Waiheke Island. I highly recommend that anyone that loves a great wine experience, visit Obsidian.

Not as fancy looking as the other vineyards in the area but the wines speak for themselves and are possibly the best you can get on the island. Very knowledgeable and friendly host for the tastings. Cellar door prices are very reasonable for the quality of wine too.

Quality wines and relaxing wine tasting experience. The French girl was so lovely and friendly, she really knew her wines and was super knowledgeable. I do like places that charge for wine tasting and then remove the charge if you buy wine. Peaceful setting with good wines
