"We take a complete approach to you and your family's health and well-being, providing both Urgent Care and GP Services.Our Urgent Care Clinic is open late from 8am-8pm, every day including weekends and public holidays, for accidents, injuries, urgent medical matters and unexpected illnesses. You don't need an appointment for our urgent care services, just walk-in. All welcome, enrolled and non-enrolled patients. Our General Practice GP services provide care for our enrolled patients with booked appointments, Monday to Friday. We went to ‘The Doctors Red Beach’ clinic with a sick baby. I’d say we were well attended by Nurse Rae and Dr Steve. They were very polite and patient to explain things to us as well answer all our queries. I’d highly recommend the practice. Well done team.
This place is an absolute disaster Over priced, scammy money comes first Reception staff are disgustingly rude and doctors seem like they’ve helped themselves to the drug cabinet. Been here numerous times over the years and there’s been nothing but misdiagnosis and poor treatment. Extremely long wait times. Charged for a baby’s emergency ? Babies are free everywhere?? Pocketing some personal money aye reception team ? I can’t even deal.
We had an appointment booked for 1:00pm. We arrived 7 minutes late the Doctor Derek Reinecke told the receptionist that he wont see us as we are given 15min slots and he wont use the remainder to have a look at why my wife has high blood pressure after given she gave birth a few days ago and her midwife said she needs to get to the doctor. We drove 50min to get here. Every time we arrive on time and still have to wait. Why could he not see us in our remainder time of 15min. This is the last staw as wr are always screwed around.
I want to thank the team at Red Beach for helping me through urgent care twice. Alot of medical centres in the area are turning people away, but you guys are still fighting the fight. Great service and professionalism from the drs and nurses.
I would call ahead if for after hour care. They were fully booked Eed at 7pm and couldn’t accept any more patients as there was only one doctor on duty at the time.
Funny how there is no response from a manager when they get a bad review. I wasted my time enrolling online before going there yesterday. When I arrived and said I enrolled online the receptionist said they wouldn’t have received it yet. I have been there once before with my daughter who had fell on her elbow and could see a Dr very soon and didn’t have to pay anything. Yesterday however my daughter was vomiting, had a runny tummy and was crying of stomach cramps, and the receptionist said we should go to A&E. I don’t know why we couldn’t see a Dr, I was there before 4pm. Twice when I asked if they give medication there or if I have to get it from the chemist I asked because the chemist closes at 7pm they were not able to answer a simple question but rather got agitated because I asked about medicine before they had examined my daughter. We waited for 2 hours in A&E with a child crying of stomach cramps, having a runny tummy and vomiting there before seeing the Dr whom was very kind and helpful though. The nurse at A&E was also very kind. Had to pay $60! I will think twice about going there again!
Just heard Doctor John Upchurch my doctor has retired he was overworked. Just hope they get a good friendly replacement to take on his patients before they move to other GPS clinics. Would have been nice of the Doctors to advise all of Dr Upchurch patients he was leaving Red Beach.
Nurse and doctors were great, however.. I visited the clinic on a Thursday afternoon with an injury where I was charged $55.00.. I then also needed crutches where I paid $30 but was informed that I get $20 of that back when I return them. The doctor I saw also said that xray was closed for the day so I could come back tomorrow and wouldnt have to pay for the consult to see the doctor afterwards.. I was then charged $27.50 to see the doctor about my xray.. isnt this meant to be covered by ACC? So disappointed.
Over the weekend was the worst experience care from start to finish was terrible we don’t get the correct information fees are over charged it seems the patients don’t come first in this place
I went to the Doctors red beach this morning after suffering with serious sinusitis. I went through urgent care services and was greeted by Rey at my vehicle. Rey is a friendly, pleasant nurse who listens and engages with you. I was seen by Dr Pieter Crotty. Again he was friendly and listened closely to me. I feel he went out his way to help me and gave me the best treatment possible. I am super happy with my visit this morning. These people deserve the 5 stars I rated them.
