Bill is an excellent teacher! Our SUP Surfing lesson today was full of unique and clearly explained facts that will enable this 60 year old to get surfing in no time. I highly recommended this course as the lessons learned are precisely tuned to what a beginner SUP surfer really needs. And it was heaps of fun too!!
Fantastic SUP lesson with Bill. My sister in law was returning home overseas and he went out of his way to fit us in on a lovely calm day during a week of weather extremes. He is a great instructor who had us up paddling very quickly due to his clear instructions and professionalism. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to give it a go.10/10

I love our paddleboard group in kerikeri at the stone store Thursday nights. It is a very diverse group of individuals welcoming all skill levels. Bill helped me find the right board and is supportive , informative and friendly. I'm looking forward to a lesson to upskill soon.
Bill at Northland paddleboarding makes learning to board so easy and fun. Myself and 2 other friends booked a private lesson and had a whale of a time. I now belong to the local group.
I recently had a first SUP surfing lesson with Bill. We were a group of newbies and started with a whiteboard session explaining the the surf, terminology and safety tips. An on-land session then explained technique and body positioning before proceeding to a flat water lesson where we learnt how to catch and ride a wave without the distraction of the waves! It was excellent...and fun. Many thanks Bill. Look forward to the next one. Robyn De Villiers.
