Northgate Motor Lodge

The size of room was ok however it was not clean. Also some of kitchen items were dirty which looked very old. And the bed was not good. My hubby had a back pain every morning when got up.

By error I wrote a bad review, SORRY> this place was like a palace. Compared to the motel I stayed at the night before. The staff were excellent the room was spotless every detail was at the high end. A motel I would recommend to anyone. Clean and well maintained.

My partner and I recently moved to New Plymouth and we stayed at Northgate Motor Lodge for 3 weeks while settling in and looking for accommodation to rent. The premises are in walking distance to town and nearby shops and restaurants.nThe room we stayed in was fantastic and super clean. It was cleaned every day and fresh towels and linen were provided to us regularly. The kitchenette suited our every need and had all the necessary appliances in order for us to cook every night.nThere are more TV channels available than you have time to sit and watch them all and free Wi-Fi is also provided.nParking bays are outside your front door which is highly convenient and there is a lovely outdoor barbecue area where one can relax.nThey also provide a sauna and fresh towels for you to unwind in after a days work.nThere is a laundry service on the premises including a tumble dryer.nPaul and Sharyn went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience with them and we would highly recommend staying there if you're in town either for the weekend, business, or extended vacation.

Great location. Appreciated the fact that the carpark was right outside the room, and the room was nice and cozy. Double glazed windows mean a nice quiet sleep and the bed was so squishy and comfy. Everything we needed was there and enjoyed everything about it.

Friendly welcome soon as we arrived. Excellent motel. Warm and cosy. We were given a down stairs unit which was quite and restful. Beautiful clean and comfy big bed. Love the air con in the room. Definitely stay again! Nice staff. And Only 7 minutes drive to New Plymouth Hospital which was perfect for us
