We were pleasantly surprised to find out that this place was so good. Id say it was awesome.nThe room size was great, just right for the 3 of us.nThe hotel is located pretty centrally, close to the City Centre.nThe Restaurant served amazing food. I’ve reviewed that separatelynAll i can say is whenever I go back to New Plymouth, this is going to be my first preference.
This Motor Inn is beautifully situated only a few minutes drive to N/Ply shopping centre and cafes.nThe staff and their service was superb and the food excellent.nTheir prices are also very competitive.nThere are a couple of areas which can be improved upon, firstly there is no aircons in the rooms and secondly, access is restricted in rooms for people with mobility issues.nWe will be back as our stay was very enjoyable.
Looks inviting & well put together when you 1st arrive but the room I stayed in was damp & had mold on the blinds and windows, in the bathroom the barge boards are all rotten, the tap fitting in the shower leaked. The Restaurant is stupidly over priced you pay gourmet price for sub par meals. The staff mostly friendly but very disorganised. I get the feeling all these issues start at the top would not recommend.
Room decor is tired, paint peeling on the bathroom ceiling. But room was cleaned to a good standard. Room service meals were beautiful. I had the lamb shank my partner had the steak, both meals were yum yum! We both had coconut panacotta for desert and that was super yummy too!
I love coming here, these guys are great, and the rooms are spacious and clean.nnBest part is the Restaurant they have Julianna's. Jenna the F&B manager always made feel so welcome and she is the reason I rebook this place every time, I am in New Plymouth for work.
