This little gem in The Tannery is well worth a visit!nWe had a Salmon Donburi & a Karaage Chicken Donburi and they were delicious….. the inclusion of warm rice was a nice surprise as the rice is normally luke warm on the bottom.nThe salmon was tender and beautifully cooked and the Karaage chicken was very tasty….nNot the most i te resting interior design, but the food is worth a trip….
I like their deco, so chill. The sushi tastes good and I LOVE that they let you get all the wasabi you want. Small varieties but all are fresh. The egg with beef roll is an interesting one: I didn’t think the combination would work but tried one out of curiosity. Turns out it worked nice! Short wait during peak hours but worth the wait!
Great sushi with very fresh ingredients. We loved all the sushi. Miso soup was nice too.
More expensive than other “self-service” sushi places, but at the same time bigger pieces and great quality!! It’s the best I tried in Christchurch so far, price corresponds with the quality and taste. Everything was fresh and I can’t wait for the next visit.
Delicious sushi. Haven't dined in as I always get sushi to go as it's down the road from my work. It is really expensive but very good quality. My fave workday treat. Love being able to get individual sushi without having to buy a container of one thing like at bigger chains
