Great for late night shopping. I was at St Lukes Mega Centre after 7pm on a Thursday. All assistants were attending to customers at checkout and the phone/appliance displays. I did not have to wait long before a friendly assistant asked what I needed and they were quick to help. All staff were definitely pleased to see another customer. Try late nights there Thursday and Friday. I recommend this store.
Pushy sales staff, no one to serve you unless you ask for assistance. Saw a few staff on their phones which was pretty un-professional. Decent selection of white-ware being a big store but customer service definitely needs to improve. D+
Mixed review: Pros - large format store, good product range, floor staff generally helpful. Very prompt and good online customer support. Cons - St Lukes 'service counter' is often painfully slow even when not busy, the staff have been apologetic and helpful but seem overwhelmed with returns and anything that is not a straightforward sales transaction, needs improvement.
The staff couldn't care less to help with purchases. One staff did approach but the assistance was as good as saying you can go there to find what you want. The staff hardly knew the options they sell. So much for being techsperts. I walked into a competitor closeby and chose to make my purchase there.
Had to purchase a new fridge/freezer Went to Harvey Norman no help from anyone. Noel Leemings in st lukes we got there a sales rep was with us ready to show Lynne the three she had picked. Bought and paid for with delivery on Saturday 31st all done in thirty minutes. The store was busy provided you didn't need the front counter or arrange finance transactions were done quickly in the kitchen area.
Jay was great but Maggie not so much. They need to improve their customer service. It shouldn't be too hard to teach your employees how to treat customers. I don't wanna come back to this store ever again.
3 Staff at checkout left as we were standing in the counter waiting and even had eye contact with them. Store was very quiet but no one still seems available to help us. Waited more than 10 mins for a one item transaction
My recent experience purchasing an iMac was not a good one. This review is based more on the customer service aspect. Paid for it at Sylvia park and went to collect it from St Lukes, at the counter they said that the item was also held for another customer but since I came first I could have it. Weird, since the staff at Sylvia park called them and said that I would pay for it and come pick it up. Lucky me, or not. Took the product home, set it up, a few minutes later, I heard a whining sound from the right side. Did a quick search online, this was a known issue with some of the M1 iMacs from other users. Packed it up and took it back to the St Lukes store the next morning. 2 staff members had a look and listened to a video clip I had recorded, said they haven't come across this before and wanted the store manager to have a look. The store manager didn't want to listen to my recording and said that he wants to hear it for himself, which he did. Then he did some testing or research of some sort and came to the conclusion that this was normal, dismissing his colleagues research about the issue too. He said that I may be more sensitive to sound than others and that this was normal, and if this had to be checked I would have to pay $55 if it came back with no issues. What an insult, paying a hefty price for a premium product that sounds like it has a bird chirping in it is not normal by anyone's standard, of course you wouldn't hear it as much when you're in a large retail store with music blasting. Anyways, I left it with them to get it checked. Waited a few days, heard nothing. I checked the repair document and found the repair centre's details. Contacted them directly and got updates and there was something wrong, a part needed replacing. I got all my updates from them, even up to the point that Noel Leeming collected the iMac. No updates whatsoever from Noel Leeming, took 2 weeks to get this sorted. Disappointing is an understatement!
Was assisted immediately which was great but the staff member I was with was awfully quiet with a quiet voice so I had to explain more than necessary. Staff at counter looked "preoccupied" and unwelcoming. Just okay at its best, don't expect a lot
Misleading information provided in just 30 seconds to issue gift card , lost my 2 years protection money because they don’t have replacement product available and after that asking to pay another 3 years protection they buy same company products
